new york-based designer karim rashid has developed the 'snoop' stool / storage solution,
'woopy' small armchair and 'woopy' stool for italian furniture brand b-line.

'snoop' also functions as a low table with two pockets for storage

'snoop' is a rotomoulded polyethylene stool that has a triple identity.
it can also be used as a low table with two built-in pockets and in multiples can be stacked
to create bookcases of various shapes and sizes.

Despite of what some people may comment, I believe here's a designer that keeps making product design interesting and exciting. If anyone has negative stuff to say about Karim's work they should rather create what they think is meaningful and beautiful as a reaction; otherwise, just shut up because we are saturated with charlatans that can't produce any work good or otherwise. Good Job Karim!

Germans, neither known for their wit nor their compassion :)
It not true that negative comments about Karim on this site are deleted, if you don't believe it check some of the older postings about his work, full of hate. Anyhow, its refreshing to see product with color and multi-function, I like it

Karim must have the best pr agent in the world as his designs are amongst the worst that are published- nothing like being at the bottom of the middle - he is the britney spears of design, and a really horrible DJ to boot

stuck in the 90's forever it seems

karim (or dj kreemy as he is known to his fans)
is in fact a close spiritual relative of jeff koons, you can never tell whether either is being completely deadpan or hilariously ironic. I think they are both geniuses, or geniii if that is a word? If nothing else, they get tasteful middle class really wrong which has to be a win in my (i)book...

jaime hayon: favn sofa

design | 06.09.11

'favn' picks up from the long tradition of arne jacobsen in the sense that I wanted to create a form that was based on a shell, like the egg™ and the swan™ which looks equally beautiful from all angles.' - jaime hayon
