thai design at milan salone del mobile and fuorisalone 2011 from 12 to 17 april 2011
the department of export promotion (DEP) of the TIFF - thailand's international furniture fairin bangkok will bring thai exporters and designers to participate at the 'salone del mobile',
the milan furniture fair in the design hall no. 8 booths B38-40, you will find companies from thailand:
crafactor, deesawat, kenkoon, kun, moban, mobella, palazzo, and performax among other exhibitors.

another DEP initiative, a curatorial exhibition project entitled 'slow hand design and the heart value of thai products'
will be shown 'fuori salone' - in milan's off-site program' on the former ansaldo site in via tortona 54, facing the superstudio piu'.
the exhibition demonstrates that the evolution of contemporary thai design is firmly rooted in its proud past, when the area
was known as 'suvarnabhumi' (i.e. golden land) for its outstanding wealth and trade. on view will be also products of the
thai DEmark design excellence award.
