with their 'baguette chair' for italian furniture company magis the paris-based design duo of ronan and erwan bouroullec
wanted to develop a seating object with a minimal amount of materials and assembly components possible.

made with a plywood seat and back, the chair's supports consist of four thin sticks of solid wood that are maintained together
by an injected aluminium structure. in wanting to continue with similar design specifications of the 'baguette table'
which they designed for magis in 2010, the chair is lightweight and easy to assemble. it comes in natural or stained ash.

the 'baguette chair' is on show at milan design week 2011.
