french designer matali crasset's 'dynamic life' for italian furniture company campeggi is a sofa that proposes
a number of seating variations. devoid of any complicated mechanisms, the design features seven sections
that can easily be folded outwards - each one individually - transforming parts of the piece (or the entire sofa if needed)
into a full-out lounger. an adaptation on the classic recliner, the 'dynamic life' is conceived not for passive comfort,
but for an active one.

Reminds me of a big hot dog with cheese

A giant hamburger. Cool

To be honest with myself... I think it's ugly... It could be as functional but with a more interesting look...
vermont   04.08.11
I like it very much, both the estetical and the practical side of it :)
Martin   04.09.11
I'm sorry but I think it's a very ugly piece of furniture even though the concept is fun and flexible
Prawns   04.09.11
Done many times before and this thing is ugly.
(Since the 70's)
I would be embarrassed to present this.

It looks like a stylized version of Homer Simpson's face. So you have the opportunity to feel like you are being vomited up by Homer Simpson? I will buy one.

Great idea, but why does it have to be sooo hideous???
OmiOmiO   04.12.11
Maybe Matali Crasset looks for that particlular 'hospital playroom' esthetic on purpose.

Thats her style and the jokes on those who believe that its bad taste and done by accident.
