OFIS arhitekti: sauslamp

'sauslamp', designed by OFIS arhitekti

designed by slovenia-based OFIS arhitekti for use in their student housing project in paris,
'sauslamp' features a flexible, modular structure and is constructed in a range of sizes,
enabling the pieces to be adapted to different spaces while lending a sense of architectural consistency.

the 'sauslamp' itself is constructed from carbon fibre, secured with steel rotational joints
that permit the pieces to be bent into a range of configurations. an optional opal plexiglass cover
for the lamphead can render the light more diffuse.

the pieces are scaled to desk, floor, and street -lamp heights, all of which can be adjusted
by rotating their four internal and single floor joints.

the modular structure permits the pieces to be easily produced in a range of scales, from desk lamps to streetlights
