'rememberme' is a project about appreciation, relationships, separation and the notion of continuous reinvention.
made from old clothing garments such as jeans, t-shirts etc., the chair addresses our current societal issues of
sustainability and recycling, giving the, what would have been discarded garments, new life.

the wear and use of clothes gives the chairs a vibrant story. with 'rememberme', the personality of the clothes live on,
acting as something like a three-dimensional, contemporary quilt, giving new expression to the materials,
their original shape and life story.

jb   04.15.11
I want to know also. Are these functional?
Dominic   04.15.11
Probably are via the use of some sustainable resin I'm sure
jj   04.15.11
can u post up how this was done?
pandy   04.16.11
Super! I want one!
MArtin   04.16.11
I would think you can sit on them, but the fact that this is art, I would not do so.
Mrs. Wireless   04.16.11
I have seen them in DMY last year, and yes you can seat on them. I think there a made from diping the cloth in a resin (like any carbon or glass fiber process) and compress in a mold
raphili   04.17.11
yes, you can sit oon them.
Emilio   04.18.11
why not give the cloths to someone who needs? thats what i do...
