british designer tom dixon has created 'cast chair', a simple form modeled after the archetypal form.
industrial in appearance, the chair features cast iron legs that are bolted into the thick slabs of
black foam which compose the seat and back rest. constructed from a series of individual components,
the object is easily broken down which allows it to be shipped in a small package. the chair was presented
during milan design week 2011.
