giha woo: hidden light

'hidden light' by giha woo

korean designer giha woo's 'hidden light' is a hybrid piece of furniture which conveniently combines chair
and lighting design into a single object. minimal in its appearance, the chair's structure is made from a simple
tubular metal frame. at the top of the chair back, the frame can be detached to reveal a reading lamp which is hinged,
providing a source of light for the individual sitting in the chair. this top section to be swung around and adjusted
according to the sitter's needs.

you have to work on the lamp, that white light makes the reading really hard, really good idea though!

it's a pity that the chair is poorly detailed and plastic part is a rip off from nendo chair... right idea wrong execution...
meme   05.02.11
@meme: given the timeframe, it's doubtful this is a 'rip off from nendo chair'.
