bearing spanish-born designer patricia urquiola's hallmark aesthetic, the 'foliage' sofa she designed for
italian furniture brand kartell presents a between natural imagery and realities combined with the artificial.
the seat itself is formed from a polyurethane foam padding that is covered with a quilted elastic fabric
that is embellished with a top-stitched embroidery leaf pattern that spans over the entire surface of the sofa seat.
this mass of graphic leaves rests upon four round legs - a frame of 'branches' that are made from batch dyed
technopolymer thermoplastic. overall, the unit measures L185 x H90 x D90cm.
'foliage' is available in a range of color combinations:
acid green fabric, red frame; black fabric, cream frame; cream fabric, acid green frame; green fabric, black frame;
petrol blue fabric, hazelnut frame; red fabric, cream frame; sand fabric, cream frame; sugar bag blue fabric, red frame.
