the 'keyless lifebook' concept by american designer laura lahti, is a shortlisted entry among over 1000 designs
from our recent designboom competition 'a life with future computing', organized in collaboration with FUJITSU.


designer's own words:
'the strain of typing will disappear with this ergonomic, customizable keyboard. your fingers will never lift up again,
you only have to slide your fingers up and down for the computer to recognize the letters you are commanding.

to customize, simply hit the 'arrange' button to move the button placement on your slideboard for a more comfortable arrangement

@Rui: the Libretto only offers 6 keyboard settings to choose from, it is not customizable, scalable, international, etc.

Looks like a virtual Comfort Keyboard in one plane. Still a good idea I think. May help in reducing RSI, carpal tunnel.
