stands and vases are fused together in 'podium vases' by swiss designer nicolas le moigne.
reminiscent of the way objects are presented in galleries around the world, the series features
three hand-crafted vessels that are displayed as if they were of social and historical importance.
on show at design miami basel 2011, each variation - available in bronze, silver or gold -
is linked by a common technique and mathematical approach. the dimensions and form of each vessel
proportionately relate to that of the podium to ensure an aesthetically sound combination.
