the 'sora collection' by japanese artist eriko horiki for french crystal manufacturer baccarat,
is a series of chandeliers which combines the delicate materials of two different craft traditions.
'sora' consists of two distinct chandelier types - 'senritsu' and 'shizuku' - made from japanese paper and crystals.

'senritsu' - rhythm of sunshine - is comprised of two half-ovoid shapes made of paper, magnified by a shower of
crystal pendants on its underside. filtered by a crown of woven crystal prisms, it bestows its light in a balletic interplay
of rays and shadows.

with japanese washi paper, with hand-sewn crystal octagons flowing along the length of the main pendant.
