‘bridge’, a compact shredder designed by one tenth has hit the market. produced in collaboration with takumi and idea international inc, the office accessory – originally exhibited at designtide tokyo 2009 – is both small and lightweight, making it ideal for private use in the home. free of excess material and a bulky collection bin, the object features a diverse tapered form that adheres to the dimensions of many office-sized wastebaskets. manufactured using as little material as possible, the mechanism is powered by batteries and can be easily stored in small spaces.
