UK practice studio integrate has sent us images of their latest project ‘inverscape’, a temporary installation in north london’s award winning cafe and gallery, tina we salute you. comprised of a dramatic application of loosely draped fabric, the work integrates a dynamic computational process with material exploration and behavioral analysis to achieve an innovative and unique sense of spatiality.

two layers of translucent frames secure the nylon mesh in place. the top layer acts as the boundary frame and the bottom layer is suspended, generating the organic form by applying the weight of itself onto the fabric. the application of a second layer of differentiated patterns on both the fabric and the frames enhances the quality of light and modulation, creating an experiential and diverse interior condition.
