‘chair D’ by kako.ko design studio represents a mix of tradition and innovation, where cultural heritage is redefined into a contemporary design object. two-fold in its function, the object features a unique geometry that can easily transition between armchair and footstool. a series of flat, bendable surfaces collapse and expand to transform both the dimension and the usage of the singular piece. supported by a solid wood base, the chair embodies a simple but bold aesthetic. made to order, the chair is carefully constructed with contrasting felt and wood that have been selected for their sustainable attributes.
