'crank out' handmade skate board featuring a graphic composed of the penrose triangle


'crank out' skateboards are designed by dante spagnuolo, santolo guarracino and annalisa avogadri from italy.
the skateboards act both as sculptural objects or to be ridden around. each board is unique and numbered.
the geometric graphic influences of the boards pull from drawings by M.C. escher, the penrose triangle and gestalt illusions,
creating, besides the drawing, a composition of colors using different wood essences.

on this board the graphic is made using wenge, maple, cherry and birch. the graphic is a composition of the penrose triangle arranged in a pattern which highlights the various woods used
