following the futur cultur festival the magazine library makes its way to designboom's 'yakitate!' exhibition at dwell on design
in los angeles, USA from june 24th, to june 26th, 2011.

yakitate!
is japanese for 'freshly baked' - designboom has curated an exciting collection of the latest contemporary design from
japan that will be on view for three days in los angeles, commissioned especially for the exhibition 'dwell on design'.
it is a unique cultural event that illuminates familiar and unfamiliar fields of contemporary japanese design.
the exhibition explores the role of tradition and innovation and provides a rare encounter with works that embody
the transformation of functional design to sculpture, connecting japanese culture with the californian lifestyle.

david guarino's magazine library installation at dwell on design will focus on asian publications, most of which are japanese,
and are being brought to north america for the first time.
