our friends at FRAME magazine and at dutch furniture company moooi are joining forces to host the frame moooi award 2012 (for which designboom is the official online media partner).
the brief the call for entries asks for furniture and / or lamps custom-designed specifically for interior spaces. all eligible projects must have been completed between january 1st, 2010 and september 1st, 2011. products that are already in commercial production are also accepted.
who anyone who is an interior designer, product designer and architect can participate. developers, funders, contractors and other organizations (such as clients), may also submit work on behalf of an architect / designer with their consent.
dates and deadlines the opening date for entries is september 1st, 2011. the deadline for submissions is december 1st, 2011. the shortlisted winners will be announced on march 15th, 2012, and an award ceremony and party held will be held april 2012 in milan during design week. the winning project will receive a cash prize €25 000.
