'92.5' necklace by luna seo
in the '92.5' necklace created by seoul-born, stockholm-based designer luna seo, the clasp doubles as a pendant.
observing that 'in a necklace, the hook takes the most important role, yet [is] always hidden in the back',
seo questioned, 'why do we try to hide the important?' and sought a jewelry design that would celebrate
this functional centerpoint.
composed of sterling steel, the necklace is named after the fact that its material is an alloy contained 92.5% silver by mass
(with 7.5% of other metals), a designation typically stamped in tiny print upon silver hooks. here the information is likewise
highlighted, engraved onto the pendant-clasp.

though it doubles as the pendant, the clasp also retains its standard function
An elegant piece but I believe that the material used in making it would be 'sterling-sivler' and the not the 'sterling-steel' as described. :)
