giha woo: twisted pencil

'twisted pencil' by giha woo

'twisted pencil' is a vase which utilizes a pencil to form the outline of its shape. created by korean designer giha woo,
the design conveys a particular value with a nuance of amusement by using the writing utensil as its structural component.
in comparison with general products, it isn't a pencil vase that can contain many pencils, but includes new aesthetics,
considering the morphology of objects around us.

it is impossible to move it with a pencil from one place to another.

This is really poor, a nicknack at best.

Not up to the standard one expects for Designboom.
Cassian   09.26.11
I like it. As a concept. But not as a best product ever.
And not for pencils sharpened any shorter than about 3/4 original length.
Warren   09.26.11
I really appreciate its playfulness and simplistic elegance. Love it! Not everything has to be practical in order to be relevant. Not up to Design Boom standards??? Please!
