french brothers and design duo ronan + erwan bouroullec are exhibiting their works at the centre pompidou-metz
in metz, france. their first solo exhibit in france, 'bivouac' was curated by hélèn guenin and laurent de bon.
the collection of designs includes not just their finished products for brands such as vitra, alessi, and kartell,
but also the research that went into making them. the 1000 square meter exhibition space features an assortment
of objects including process work and models to visually communicate how the designs go from idea to concept
to completion. the wide variety of projects generated by studio bouroullec over the past 15 years of their collaboration
will also include an overview of their diverse design practice.
