'balloon X lamp' by haoshi design


taiwanese studio haoshi design have created the 'balloon X lamp', a wall-mounted lighting system which draws on the
childhood memory of getting a balloon at a fair or amusement park. this simple moment brought temporary happiness to us
in our young age. haoshi's intention with this design is to represent hope and warmness, through the balloon shaped light's form.
simply pull the hanging cord to turn the balloon on or off.

haoshi design is just one of the many international talents that will present their wares at our 2011 tokyo designboom mart
held from november 1 - 6, 2011.
