water bottle bike lock
'bottle lock' by küat racks
the 'bottle lock' by US-based bike accessory designers küat racks offers an innovative way to transport bicycle locks
with less hassle. the design coils a 1.5-meter long braided steel cable lock within a case that resembles a water bottle,
and thus snaps easily into common water bottle holders on bike frames. the lock is usable from this stored position:
the cable is fed from the receptacle around the bike wheels and rack.
the device also features a small lockable compartment in which keys or other objects may be securely stored.

How many people chain their bike up over night. Sometimes as I've found you chain your bike with a D-lock and they just steel the parts like my ceramic pads for the disc brakes so its almost like you can't win. I think most people wouldn't leave their bike chained up over night just for the fear of the wheels getting kicked in by drunks.
