japanese architect keiji ashizawa has designed 'sutoa', a drawer unit made from wooden boxes,
for european sales and design agency frama. the minimalist structure is comprised of seven stacked
chestnut containers and a steel frame onto which they slide to create a pyramid. the space left between
drawers permits them to be pulled in or out despite the lack of formal handles. the cabinet's form is derived
purely from the functional elements, where no working part of the unit is hidden.
