japanese product designer kouichi okamoto of kyouei design has created 'weight of the light lamp'.
to visually show the load of something usually considered weightless. light bulbs are placed into
16 nonflammable cloth bags. to counter the weight this creates, a stone is placed on the other side
of a wooden and stainless steel balance. the lamp is on show at the annual design tide, in tokyo midtown hall,
october 29th - november 3rd, 2011.
