'jupitris', a designer phone charger by jin kuramoto for iida
the 'jupitris' AC adapter was created by japanese designer jin kuramoto for iida, a japanese phone accessory company
that seeks to return a human element to its products. meant to prevent the hassle of tangled wires during travel,
the device features a retractable cord with a conventional microUSB port at one end, plugging into most smartphones.
'jupitris' took three years from the concept stage to production.

this wooden japanese tea set is made by turning each piece on a lathe. the results are sets of tea drinking vessels which stack on top of one another creating totem-like structures.
