bicycle mudguards by full windsor

'quickfix' and 'foldnfix' are portable, snap-on bicycle mudguards, produced by london bicycle accessories design company
full windsor. unlike conventional mudguards, the pieces affix universally across almost all bikes and require no tools to install.

'quickfix' clicks on the bike frame, folding flat when not in use for easy transport. while similarly simple to mount,
'foldnfix' offers a more permanent solution, attaching with cable ties.

the origami-like devices are the result of extensive experimentation, as designer mark windsor experimented over the course
of 200 prototypes before arriving at the final designs. both models are produced in black, white, silver, red, yellow, and blue.

the WIT-ones are much more refined. Seem to be easier to use, prettier. The WIT is design, the one here posted is an engineers' work.
D. Cameron   11.06.11
I think this one has stronger characteristic. and can fit for wider range of bikes.

@D. Cameron:
I see no reason why this isn't a worthy competitor for the Wit-designed model. They are clearly similar, but this is no more the work of an engineer over ind. designer than the Wit design.

I like the fendor bendor more...!
joris   11.07.11
WIT's design is clearly more refined and elegant!

A guy who makes a chair doesn't owe everyone else who's made a chair before.

It's a remix not a ripoff

I have one of the WIT industries fenders and love it.

The WIT industries fender is not designed to work with modern road brake calipers though. It won't fit as it interferes with the brake. That's how they're able to get the design so clean.

This design by full windsor looks like it will still fit with a road brake. I'll have to get one.

the designs are very similar but show interesting nuances of difference in their implementation,
designboom has just added a feature on the 'fendor-bendor' by wit industries:
