'(c)lamp' by bruce sterling

bruce sterling can now add 'designer' to his long list of titles. sterling is the author of numerous
science-fiction titles and the non-fiction book, 'shaping things' that demonstrate his profound interest in
our relationships with objects and the future. however, beyond his one-year position as 'visionary in
residence' at the art center college of design, he has never delved into design.

named the (c)lamp, this lamp was designed by bruce sterling and edited by anna lena to materialize his
post-industrial design philosophies. the piece is made from plastic cable clamps that can be arranged in
a variety of different ways, transforming the objects appearance.
