'moaïs' lamps by ionna vautrin
all images by nicolas aristidou
paris-based designer ionna vautrin has created 'moaïs' lamps. the lighting collection consists of both a pendant ceiling lamp
and totem-like floor lights created in three height variations with black rolled-aluminum, cone shaped bases.
each of the polycarbonate sheets which comprise the lampshades of the statuesque collection are silkscreened in several
designs. the sheets are framed by brightly-colored aluminum 'combs' which maintain the three dimensional shape of the lighting objects,
whether set upon a base or strung from the ceiling.
