paris-based designer rafael gomez has created 'a moving mirror'. the 360 degree object was formed from both the designer's
desire to experiment with reflective design in addition appeal to a more honest physical interpretation of the mirror as an
implement to assist in narcissism. gomez has designed a playful mirror which turns narcissism into a game. the adjustable
mirrored panels become a tool of composition. the bombardment of images viewed in the contained space of 'a moving mirror'
turns the mirror into an object through which to forget oneself.

Not much has been done in recent years to innovate the mirror. For those who have tried to find a mirror which is not banal, this is certainly the answer. Both functional and sculptural, it is also clever, interesting and poetic. It is simply a beautiful object, and I also love the fact that it is interactive and that you can change the composition.
