‘frames. fragmented landscape’ by x-studio

iván juárez and sandra garcía of x-studio have created ‘frames, fragment landscape’ in fjords, norway. the design was influenced by the landforms of western norway and provides a connection between the scenery and the construction while simultaneously maintaining a look-out-point boundary. fjord is seen through an arrangement of disks cut from sections of slender evergreens. the intervention of the surrealistic fence in the viewing plane of the observer combines the raw woodland materials and fragmented perspective which appreciates the landscape.
