new york-based firm aruliden has created ‘glasscape’ for turkish manufacturing company gaia & gino. the bowl has a traditional exterior, but inside, the glass forms a mountainous landscape. when water is added, the refraction of the light creates accentuates the topographical details. made of handblown glass, the vessel measures 32 x 21 cm (13 x 8 inches). ‘glasscape’ is on show at maison et objet 2012
