studio ve: manifold clock - telling time in 3D

'manifold clock' by studio ve - timelaspe (half hour)
a year ago, designboom published a story on the concept of the 'manifold clock' by israeli design studio studio ve (shay carmon and ben klinger),
a time-teller whose form is based on mathematical systems - the study of riemann surfaces, and the log(z) function.
since then, the duo has been working hard to promote their project, taking it from concept to reality. since its initial design phases,
the studio has created a custom ABS injected base for the timepiece and has developed a slew of new graphics for the 'manifold'.
they are currently on the verge of mass-producing their clock, and have started a kickstarter campaign to help them fund their project.
