‘knopp’ by ania pauser

stockholm-based furniture designer ania pauser has created ‘knopp’, a pendant lamp for swedish furniture manufacturer klong.

to modulate the light, 12 petals are laser cut with patters and divided into layers. the flexibility of the aero plywood allows the pieces to be attached to the birch armature with brass fixtures. ‘knopp’ gets its name from a flower bud that is just about to bloom.  the fixtures were on display at the stockholm furniture and light fair 2012.
