roto-drawing machine by françois xavier saint georges

a 'roto-drawing', created entirely by a small automatic machine developed by françois xavier saint georges
french canadian designer françois xavier saint georges (fxstg) has created a small machine that randomly generates
graphite drawings. 'roto' is based on an electric rotary tool, to which the designers has affixed sticks of graphite.
while the device's construction is simple, the drawings it creates are not: layering shades and pattern marks
onto the page as it hops around a blank sheet of paper.
