french designer and interior architect antoine phelouzat has created 'quake', a modular shelf system for eno.
the furniture piece is comprised of several wooden slats held up by a metal cubes. the composition of the rectangular legs,
more specifically the construction of the corners create the illusion of an unsteady structure. the design requires no hardware to assemble,
and the steel wire units fit into one another, making it compact and transportable. like many good ideas, the simple and functional storage object
took phelouzat twenty minutes to design. 'quake' was on on show at maison et objet 2012.
