manvsmachine has developed a re-branding campaign and video shorts, or 'idents', for british digital television channel more4
a subdivision of UK network channel 4. after winning a pitch competition for the company's re-design, the london-based studio was
commissioned to create the new logo, advertising campaign, and idents visualizing the hand-made pixels in various environments to be
screened on the television channel during commercial breaks. the flexible, environmental art installations are intended to mimic
the movement of pixels upon a screen, as the man-made pieces flip at differing rates, enhancing the vibrant colors naturally occurring
in settings viewed on more4.

manvsmachine partnered with london installation design studio jason bruges studio in order to create real-life pixels, forming live-action
components placed in every-day environments. the pixel-reminiscent flipper system is comprised of 400 units and was placed in
various interior and exterior environments such as a domestic staircase, public walkway or near dungeness.

'the re-brand is centred round a bold, flexible logo that morphs through a series of flips, folds and reveals. the colour palette reflects
the vibrant nature of interiors, food culture, fashion and other contemporary lifestyle programming.
