early muskoka / adirondack chairs



this set of hemlock chairs may recall the lazy days of last summer but they have
actually been around for a long time. these original muskoka / adirondack chairs
were designed in 1903 by thomas lee and patented in 1905 by harry bunnell.
the simple design has become an icon for the modern outdoor chair. they recently
sold at auction for 6,600 USD.
