'the family of form' will be on show at designhuis eindhoven, netherlands from january 13 through march 23, 2008.
designhuis is an initiative by li edelkoort, chairperson of the board at the design academy eindhoven. 'the family
of form' exhibition celebrates the academy's 60th anniversary through three generations of its graduates' works.
the overall theme of the exhibition is the investigation into the identity of design. the designs explore ideals of
beauty, individuality and materialisation of the physical or virtual form reaching surprising insights designing new
materials and inventing new techniques in the process. the exhibition was shown at milan design week 2007.
