'waive' by matthias pliessnig

designer matthias pliessnig creates intricate bent-wood furniture and structures that stretch the limits of the
material. he has sent us his latest piece: 'waive'. like its ancestor 'bends', it evokes a billowed grid of wood that
has been depressed by the sitter. the piece is very lightweight and strong due to the compound curves.
matthias is currently working on creating longer versions of the form.
