‘the droid lamp’ by jangir maddadi

swedish-based designer jangir maddadi presents his new LED lamp collection titled ‘droid’ atmaison et objet 2012. derived from a retro-robotic shape, the lighting object fuses together a sculptural identity with a lamp to create a bolder presence within a living environment. featuring ambient-dimming controllers in both the front and back of the device, users can manage the light output and style.

manufactured using high-quality brass and painted steel, the ‘droid lamp’ provides long-lasting LED electrical circuity to achieve a color rendering index (CRI) of 96, demonstrating its ability to express an object’s color exactly how it appears in warm and natural lighting conditions.
