martino gamper's total trattoria

london's aram gallery will be showing the latest iteration of martino gamper's trattoria al cappello concept,
the first time time it will be open to the public. opening on march 7th, 'total trattoria' will feature a dining event
where all the elements will be designed by gamper. they mean every element too, from the kitchen to the table,
chairs and even the food. of note are the interconnected dining tables and the series of 25 different chairs
each made from the same component parts. on the tables, gamper has collaborated with other makers to create
engraved glasses, leather coaster cluster, blown-glass water jugs and limited-edition place-mats. maki suzuki,
alex rich and kajsa stahl collaborated once again with gamper. the show will run until april 26th with a specially
designed catalogue to accompany it.
