japanese studio nendo, will be presenting a new line of kitchen ware for guzzini during milan design week 2008.
'flower-scale' is a slicing template which aims to encourage socializing during a meal. because fewer and fewer
japanese people eat in groups, this project is designed for slicing cakes, pizza and other food into an odd number
of slices. the templates are shaped like flower petals, each one uses the gap between petals as the cutting guide.
the series of six different templates all fit in a small holder, resembling a bouquet of flowers.
