'serpent' red onyx necklace

the renowned french glass maker, lalique is launching a new collection of home accessories and jewelry inspired
by china, titled 'china mood'. the company's involvement and influence with chinese arts dates back to founder
rené lalique's design of the peace hotel in shanghai. pieces in then new fall 2008/ winter 2009 collection include
vases inspired by the 800 year-old city of liinang, bowls with relief carving depicting the chinese country side
and a collection of serpent jewelry made using semi-precious stones.
