the snapshot report from our recent mart at the ICFF, new york is now online!
2008 was the fourth consecutive year that designboom has held the 'designboom mart' at the ICFF,
new york.as part of the cultural program of the ICFF, designboom hosted a group exhibition of
international design professionals, some that you are already acquainted with and others that deserve
to be noticed. the participating designers sold design-originals (limited series and/or prototypes of
their latest works). ICFF visitors had the opportunity to purchase intelligent, useful and quirky items
priced from a range of 10 to 100 (USD).



from metal to ceramics, glass to fabrics, to recycled materials, with close to 100 beautiful objects
on sale the mart achieved a good compromise between creativity and production. in this initiative,
the designers were personally presenting their wares, along with, various samples and a portfolio.
the - designboom ICFF mart 08 - was an unprecedented opportunity to meet the young avant-garde
and become familiar with their work.
