radiohead recreated with redundant technology



glasgow school of art graphic design student james houston recently posted a video online which recreates
a radiohead song using scanners, printers and computers for sound effects. the video has since gained huge
amounts of acclaim, even from the band itself. the video was produced in under a week for houston’s degree
show using redundant hardware. the ‘instruments’ were a sinclair zx spectrum for guitars, an epson lx-81 dot
matrix printer for drums, an hp scanjet 3c for bass guitar and an array of hard drives for the vocals. watch the
