'porosity bench' by steven holl architects



steven holl architects recently completed their ‘porosity bench’ a project commissioned by the johnson trading
company in new york. the wooden bench is made from solid bamboo pieces intricately cut to interlock together.
the panels are also perforated to create patterns of light through its shadows. a limited edition of ten pieces will
be produced.
