graypants produces buildings and products with sustainability and reuse in mind.
one of their latest projects ‘scrap lights’ used left over corrugated cardboard from
a previous product to create a series of pendant lamps. these lamps are layered
with rings of cardboard to create a semi transparent shade.

Everyone knows that when you cut out a circle -and stack lots of them with an overlap- you will throw away the most excess material! (I don't imagine they use left-overs from a circle cutting factory)

Tommy - They're reusing cardboard to make these lamps. Yes, they're only using part of the scraps of cardboard, but it's a lot better than not using it at all. Maybe they make something else out of the circles of cardboard left over from their lamp making. If they don't, maybe you can team up with them to make something out of the circles. Think positive!
