campana brothers select : works from the permanent collection.
at: cooper-hewitt national design museum, new york, USA
from: february 15 to august 24, 2008

the campana brothers were invited to curate an exhibition as part of a series of curated exhibition
by designers. the idea is to allow designers to select objects from the museum's permanent collection
and display it in their own style. the pieces selected range from illustrations to furniture. the brothers
designed the 'trans..chair' especially for the exhibit and it is the part of their trans plastic collection.
the chair was created using various found objects.

all of the items selected have in common a certain dreamy state of mind and perception, a touch of
humor, and an intrinsic relation to the material, our primary source.
