transforming the dumpster
dumpsters, or skips as they are referred to in the UK, can be an eyesore in a residential
neighbourhood. instead of complaining, young designer oliver bishop young decided to
transform the industrial container into a blank canvas for his imagination. from a swimming
pool to camping grounds, young transformed an empty skip into a variety of different
settings. he has expanded his idea into website which tracks skips in the london area,
making them visible for fellow ambitious visionaries.
